This post concerns the lack of an October monthly post, and the erraticness of this blog. Over the months, I've realised that this just is not sustainable; I simply am not fast enough nor have a good enough memory to write all my memos and keep them fresh at the same time. So, I'm forgoing the normal-ness of this blog, and leaning into the erraticness. There is likely no longer going to be a pattern to any of my future posts. I will post whenever I want, and post whatever I want, and hope that this will satiate the desires of the possibly non-zero number of readers of this blog. My thoughts on Beyond Canon and the Epilogues are as follows. Hussie is still a massive racist and a weirdo. The writing falters at times and the execution leaves more to be wanted but I enjoyed some ideas, especially the ones in Meat. I love the tragedy of Junerezi. I hate UltDirk and his manipulation and emotional incest to Rosebot. Some writing decisions character-wise have been utterly baffling, and some I can understand. These notes are not at all comprehensive, and I do not intend for them to be. I have plans to start writing again, but it won't be possible until I'm unshackled from my examinations and studies. I will come back with more when I have a desire to, but for now, goodbye. ;)
